• Sodium Lauryl & Laureth Sulphates (SLS & SLES)
SLS and SLES are known skin irritants. They strip the skin from its protective layer of sebum making it dry and exposed to further irritants
• Parabens (types of preservatives)
Some people are allergic to parabens. Also, parabens are known to penetrate the skin and are suspected of interfering with the body’s hormonal balance.
VERY DRY/SENSITIVE
1. Can Dr. LeWinn’s Medic Very Dry/Sensitive products be used on babies?
Yes, the products are suitable for children 6 months and older. Please consult your doctor for children younger than 6 months.
2. When should I see an improvement of my very dry/sensitive skin conditions?
An immediate soothing effect can be seen with use of Dr. LeWinn’s Medic Very Dry/Sensitive range. Noticeable improvement can be expected within a few weeks, depending on the initial condition, frequency of use as well as lifestyle.
3. Does Dr. LeWinn’s Medic Bio-Care Oil contain Vitamin A?
No, it doesn’t.

1. Does Dr. LeWinn’s Medic Acne dry out the skin as do many other acne products?
No, the products contain soothing and hydrating botanicals like Green Tea, Aloe and Witch Hazel to limit dryness, irritation and redness commonly associated with competitor acne products.
2. Does the Dr. LeWinn’s Medic Acne range make my skin sun sensitive?
A low degree of sun sensitivity may be experienced with regular and prolonged use of Cleanser, Day and Night products. More caution is required in case of regular use of the Spot Clear Gel. It is recommended to use a sunscreen when outdoors.
3. How long do I have to use Dr. LeWinn’s Medic Acne to see results?
A pimple usually takes up to 4-8 weeks to develop. Spot-Clear Gel can provide short term results by drying out existing pimples. With regular use of the Cleanse, Control and Treat program you should see an improvement of your skin within 4-8 weeks.
